Dry suits

Drysuits are the most demanding type of diving equipment in terms of airtightness. The inside of the drysuit must remain absolutely dry to allow the diver to maintain body temperature in frigid water. The largest opening on the entire drysuit is the long zipper at the chest or back. Here, the rubber-toothed, airtight zipper plays the role of the ultimate defense: it must remain completely waterproof under the water pressure at depths of tens of meters and during the diver's vigorous movements.
