Nylon Airtight Zipper: Introduction & Applications

Nylon airtight zippers are high-end specialty sealing zippers. The main body is based on an integrally woven zipper, fully laminated and coated with a TPU sealing layer. When closed, the zipper teeth tightly interlock, pressing the sealing strips firmly together to form a hermetic seal. They achieve an IPX8 waterproof rating, offering far superior waterproof performance compared to standard waterproof zippers. These zippers feature excellent flexibility, smooth operation, and long durability, and supports hot-press welding. Enhanced with our self-developed modified TPU elastomer material, they retain their functionality even in extreme cold conditions down to -40°C, and can be securely heat-welding directly to TPU and PVC fabrics. Widely used in apparel and bags, medical, chemical, firefighting and life-saving industries.
