IPX5-rated Watertight Zipper: Introduction & Applications

IPX5-rated watertight zippers are practical waterproof sealing zippers. They are constructed from integrally woven one-piece zippers, with a full-surface lamination and coating of TPU sealing layer. When closed, the zipper teeth tightly interlock with each other, compressing the waterproof sealing strips on both sides to form a water-repellent barrier. With an IPX5 waterproof rating, they can withstand low-pressure water jets from any direction, delivering waterproof performance far superior to ordinary waterproof zippers. These zippers feature excellent flexibility, smooth operation, and long-lasting durability, and supports hot-press welding. Enhanced with our self-developed modified TPU elastomer material, they exhibit superior resistance to both high and low temperatures, and can be heat-bonded seamlessly to TPU and PVC fabrics. Widely applied in outdoor gear, bags and luggage, fishing gears, and general protective products.
